try creating a "protective field" around you. whatever that means to you, really see it and visualize building it around yourself. i see it as a blue, purple, and green field around myself, moving and changing, almost like water currents.
it will also help to specifically tell this creature to move on, it just wants love & attention. tell them you do not have what they are looking for, they need to find their own light (not that of someone else), and you are done. then imagine yourself cutting the cord that connects you.
