What is it with you and categories.. OPVerma..?
In practice, you'll find plenty people falling somewhere in between. It's not as if everyone in group I and II have transcended their sensual pleasures, nor is it true that everyone in category III would have no knowledge or never do meditation. Three categories? Probably more like 3x ..... (add any large number).

It is a broad grouping to give an idea. Like everyone who lives in America is not rich and similarly all those who live in India are not poor. Like Mobile number, we all have mutually exclusive mixed good as well as bad Karma. We have to increase the % of good Karma so as to get favorable situations in our lives. Then we do 'Niskam Karma' (Selfless work ) to finally get ourselves free from the bondage of good Karma. And attain immortality.
