Shadow people are sometimes referred to as the negative parts of our personality. This is problematic as it avoids ownership of what one is generating, attributing that to something they don’t feel they are responsible for, their shadow person. Ego is sometimes used in the same way as something to dump that which we don’t want to take ownership about.
