The most important part of your post is " I just want answers." The thing is you are not 'entitled' per se to answers because you need to figure them out.
One could come up with theories of a former soul connection, but perhaps you need to focus on how this makes you feel rather than the person, because that is what you need to learn.
What I always say to others and what i learnt is that you only get answers when you ask the right questions, and if there is no answer then consider that you are not asking the right questions.
