If I am to be totally honest with myself, the biggest change I have seen in myself over the past few months and moreso recently, is learning the "three D's"... Discretion, Discernment and Diplomacy.
This means, getting to conserve my energies and directing them in the areas where they would be more effective, rather than wasting it on frivolous, superficial, insincere people or getting involved in unnecessary discourse when neither party is served by my doing so.
I have learned that many people actually
enjoy bringing on their own misery and then they love to complain about it, even though they are making the conscious decision to remain IN that situation, then asking for "help" when they are simply far beyond it and any attempt to do so is just a waste of my time and can be better addressed by a mental health professional/psychiatrist.
I have learned that people will only respond to me, if there's something in it for
them and not to take another's "cold shoulder" so personally because they are vibrating at a whole different level to what I am.
I have also learned that my forte exists in giving discourse about Hinduism, philosophy and mythology...that is my strong suit, which I am much better off sticking with, rather than trying to get involved in individual affairs regarding anything else
besides that.
The upshot of everything I have been through this year is learning that if I want to progress any further and integrate with humanity on any level that I feel comfortable about doing so, Shivani must go to the mountain, because the mountain ain't gonna come to Shivani.
