Getting rid of eating addictions is definitely a MUST, because that's the key to losing weight aside from workout. I was never obese myself but still somewhat overweighted, and my method of losing weight simply consisted of living a bit healthier and eating less and also drinking lots of water. Remember; I am not an expert at this stuff because I merely tell it from my own experience and your body may function differently than mine. It may be possible as well that you need advanced help. But still, I hope it's worth giving it a try so good luck.
