Moke, What you are describing is Process. It brings you to position E in the diagram. There is a point of realization which pops awareness off of its identification with the mind and brings one into the awareness of an absolute frame of reference, labelled G. In most spiritual traditions Enlightenment is reserved for the state of reality where one is living in the self-identification as that absolute frame of reference. The individual "you", what you identified with as an individual is no longer identified with as one's true self.

There is nothing that can be done by the individual to take them from E to G. That transition is an act of Grace from beyond the individual. And in most traditions with a system or notion of enlightenment, what is realized and experienced is a profound state of non-individuality, a state in which there is no individual or personal self. Rikki is not wrong for saying there is no self.
