The Message

So one of my karmic healers, my late uncle in law, who gave to charity amongst other things, was always asking me why the Koran was so violent.

There are oceans in the koran, waves, storms, and ripples.

Everything is in the koran and nothing.

It is the message of Allah.

If you believe in history, through the years scholars have tried to decipher the message, what does it mean, how was it constructed, can it be written down, etc.

An ever changing consensus about the meaning emerged in the Muslim world and beyond.

But the meaning is not the message.

It was not even written down originally.

First it was memorized, and it is so powerful that even today people employ such a practice.

It is disruptive, sounds of the future, waves that crash upon the ear and mind, but it is also calming, sedating, soothing, like water.

The general consensus is that in the end it will cease to exist, like all things, by which I mean be lost and forgotten in time and space.

Why is it so violent?

Because man makes it so.

Thank you.
