Ever since watching Journey To The Centre of the Earth, I have been fascinated by the idea of Hollow Earth; so much so that [perhaps subconsciously] in my fantasy novel, the main characters all fall into the ground near the climax and have to travel through pitch black darkness to find the Crystal Tree of Life growing at the centre [though the book takes place in a fantasy land called Mythaven instead of earth].
