My understanding and my experience is that our higher self is our conduit for communication involving these things.
I see telepathy and channeling as specific examples of intuitive experiences. Telepathy when defined as a shared experience is easier to appreciate than the conventional view of it as mind reading.
The higher self is our conduit for these forms of communication. Consider that everything is connected and that at a deep level our love bond with all humans is profound. Each human being a piece of what we call God.
We are all quite unique and intimately known by everyone we encounter. It is our intellect which sees us as individuals who are isolated. That is the way our intellect was designed to work. Our heart on the other hand knows who we are.
We are all eternal divine beings. The more we can cognize that reality the more this awareness will manifest in the way of abilities.
