One of my cats sleeps beside me every night. I had a visitor over the holidays and so my queen size bed had a guest sleeping in my cats spot. In the middle of the night my cat came and started meowing and squeezed himself in between the wall and my guest. My guest had to move over closer to me just so my cat could sleep. Lol.
I don't think my cats would force me on the floor if they could, they like to be near me all the time and we often sleep as a group. One cat beside me and the other one by my feet. However, both get booted from my room between 5-7 am because they wake me up expecting breakfast.
