The flip side of us having the right to have our chosen beliefs is allowing others to also have their beliefs particularly those which differ from our own.

This is the same principle behind free speech. Free speech isn’t the protecting the right to say what one wants, but protecting the right for others to say things that one might even find offensive or completely disagree w/.

You seem to be putting all of New Age thought in one category. This doesn’t apply. ALL belief systems & religions have their fair share of whack jobs, but we seldom define OUR BELIEFS by the looniest of that belief system, but often stereotype others’ beliefs by the fringiest of the fringe.
