This is the passageway to "unifying bliss of universal consciousness". Perhaps they're describing a premature kundalini process, and as we are by now well aware this can lead to a bodily sort of bliss that engulfs consciousness.
Can it lead to anything else apart from bliss? True Self, Buddha nature, wisdom, leaving the cycle of rebirth, psychic ability, the power to heal miraculously, the power to transform matter?
