Hi Arlan,
by all means look at a few u tube tai chi things, but I agree with seeker, its hard to really get into it alone without a teacher. But usually, if you have a look around on google or put the word out and ask folks, its amazing where u can find tai chi teachers. I teach a few folks for free now, just because someone asked me to help them. It shouldnt cost the earth to learn tai chi, it is supposed to be non material. I think if u look around u will find someone. If u want to get a taster of the spiritual benefits it might be easier to look for some simple chi gung exercises on utube, these are easy to learn and have massive health benefits and you will feel your chi if u do them.
