I am reading a book, Chakras for Beginners: A Guide to Balancing Your Chakra Energies by David Pond. It is, in my opinion, fantastic! I bought it some time ago but didn't really appreciate it then. It's slow going, not because it's hard to understand, but because there's a lot there. That is my experience, anyway. I was too impatient the first time I read it. Now I'm going slow, absorbing it, and finding it very helpful. I've worked through my lower three chakras and am ready for the heart chakra. But I'm no longer trying to race through them fast as I can.

One thing that Pond says is that you should NOT focus on the chakras you think are out of whack...because you will go too far or not enough. He talks about balancing the chakras before he goes into each one, and that material was very, very good. Again, the first time I read the book, I hurried through that to get to the chakras themselves. Big mistake.

I'm reading my copy on my kindle.
