I have tried being pulled out of sleep by someone that was not in agreement with me. In the start it was a battle of will until I remembered I had all the power because I had the physical body, then I just completely relax and whatever attacked me was swept out of my room
Intentions directs energy, and that is basically what constitutes an astral travel... though your intention would lack in power to what has greater power
