I experienced the beginning of kundalini awakening due to my twin flame's presence in my life, although we only met once briefly. I believe it is related to the merging/balancing of the masculine and feminine in yourself.
I went to acupuncture, and it worked wonders. Also, kundalini yoga may be beneficial.
