I understand, as I have also dealt with this. I found changing my thoughts to be of help by seeing the strength I have showed in over coming so much, cheering myself on, appreciating the good things that I do, recognizing and accepting when I am not being what or who I want, setting the intention to do better next time, spending daily time in meditation and reflection, and most importantly living my life for myself by not listening to the beat of others' drums. It has taken much time, but small steps are showing massive growth. Oh, and taking care of health concerns and surrounding myself with optimistic people. Most importantly is connecting with others. You can do it! :-)
