I have a theory on these planes:

It has long been known that the dimensions of conscious reality have an overlapping "superimposition" upon one another, and if it wasn't for the three physically obvious dimensions of height, width and depth, we might, with greater ease, begin to see how the discrete dimensions suffuse with reality as well.

Just as height, width and depth define the dimensions of our physical plane, the reaches of passion can be said to represent the dimensional scope of the astral/emotional plane. Further, the broad discriminations of our symbol languages can be considered as attributes of the manasic/mental plane, the range of one's premonitional sensitivity can touch upon the expanse of a buddhic/intuitional plane, and the magnitude of one's inspiration and will associates us to each, the plane of spirit and the plane of divinity.

If we view the "other" planes more so as aggregations of cosmic energy, in its various forms, we should be able to understand that they occur in both mind and space simultaneously.

When spirit begins to channel information to us on such topics, we often don't take into account that spirit operates from planes different than physical (unless it manifests for reasons of its own), and as such typical "planar" language (symbol use) has to be adjusted for our own symbolic comprehensions. Simply put; where mortal perspectives are bonded to three dimensional terminology, spirit is not. And those of us who are seekers of "higher" knowledge must take into account the hierarchy of Reality -

- where mortal comprehension exists below divinity, which itself, is above spirit, etc. - yet to say it this way is confusing. Rather, we must take this symbol language as an hierarchical order - in the sense of "classification," as opposed to layers of "strata".

Everything in existence is a symbol of that which is all encompassing - an aspect of our mortal world of "illusion". Everything in reality is energy. You, me, our bodies, the visible universe as well as the subtle universe, are only variations of energy. Energy can oscillate in physical directions, and it can vibrate in non-physical directions too. We are a product of where all these oscillations converge in "their" (our) own unique way.

When we take into account our emotions, mental symbols, intuitions, and collect them within the "package" that is our flesh, we have then, in effect, become a dynamic of all these vibrating energies at one time. But you may have to adjust your perceptions to realize this. The first flaw is in arguing over whether reality is a bunch of matter that affects our mind, or whether the mind is what originates our matter. Human kind likes to compartmentalize itself into one school of thought or the other, when the truth is that both are epiphenomenon of a higher order of influence.

The compulsion to view reality as if it were "stacked", or that the lighter and finer dimensions exist "above our heads" so to speak, actually originates from our physical sense of place where its own quality is "concrete" and dense. From such a relatively "heavy" perspective, we fall into the same frame of mind that ancient and primitive societies pondered from: "that all else seems to be more transcendent, light or 'airy', and consequently; 'above the earth'".

In truth, the various dimensions all share every cosmic plane. Any perception of a layered effect must be attributed to their subsequently less dense natural conditions. Even though any plane of reality remains "centralized" in and around every physical location conjunctively, so too, can they be cosmically seen as having similar mass but a less densified distribution.

Anyway. That's the way I see it.
