"After" life? They exist in the same places or non-spaces as "before" life.
In order to locate or visit these alternate foci, just tune into them, just as a radio tunes into different frequencies. Sometimes it happens accidently, but it's not something one can't learn. So just as radio waves exist in our physical universe, but unseen or unheard unless one goes and gets the proper tool to tune in; these "after life" loci also exist overlapped with our existence...just out of phase enough to be invisible (to some or most thankfully, lol). One may refocus one, many or all your senses into these planes to experience them as fully as one desires(kinda the key in how intense one prefers, and the tighter the mental focus, the easier it is to penterate beyond the veils).
If you look into dimensional theory, it has some nice explenations of the science behind it all, yet to learn how to tune in, modern science is lacking the means(aka machines that can mimic human's work). So we aren't separate, but given the nature of our collective foci, there is the illusion of separation.
