It is the nature of our society to operate in a barbaric way, generally speaking. However if you can elevate your own perspective on this everything becomes easier.
There are many with the intent to impose there will on others. Some are better doing that than others. Telepathy is a factor in such things. There are any number of ways telepathy is used. If you are a star ways fan then you are aware of that Jedi Mind altering style.
Establishing self awareness on such things is helpful. Having compassion for self and others who are ignorant helps quite a bit. So I can relate to your topic for discussion however I see what is happening as part of humanities evolutionary process. You are free to be part of the transition to better times or complain about the lack of perfection there is on this matter, which in my view will lead to personal illness.
