Maybe do safe things that let you express your emotions so your heart can open and your emotions run as needed.
Something like tear jerker movies.
Sometimes we get emotionally shut down because we're in circumstance where we don't feel safe to express emotions. Movies might help - cause the emotions they illicit aren't about you personally.
After a few months of allowing emotions to run naturally again watching tear jerker movies or deeply moving music, you might find you can open to spontaneous emotion again and feel safe doing so.
Its a thought.
