Anyway, it seems to me that regardless of which external (spirit) forces are at work, and knowing what those forces are, the spiritual task I think is to look inward and take account of this physical realm, and what we are doing to it, and how each of us must take conscious and moral responsibility for the way we live. Which you bartholomew speak to as well.
