Honza - - you're gonna test my memory of old languages here. This is just a guess - - but I think I have it correctly.

"Con" - - is Latin - - for "with."

"Science" - - means "knowledge / skill / learning." I think it is Latin too - - for something like "scientia" or "sciens" something like that. I took it in high school. That was a goodly number of years ago. "Con" - - I remember. That's easy. Heck - - the Greeks could have had it before the Latin boys and girls tho. I don't remember how all of that went down.

Consider the word "omniscience" as another use of "science" in another way. As somewhat of a "description" for God. Along with omnipotent and omnipresent.

The practice and use of "science" as it is used today has been a bit adapted - - tho not that much. It too would mean "knowledge of - - " - - whatever it is trying to explain.

But I will step back from getting into "clear conscience / karmic debts" - - and possible metaphysical laws.
