I don't think that can be supported by statistics. It would be difficult to discern due to multiple other factors.

I'd suggest that a thorough assessment of a person's health, life circumstances and activity preferences would be required prior to recommending exercise intensity.

I usually say don't do it to a level that you hate it, because you'll be likely to give that up, but do it to a level where it's worth doing in that it works. A balance between enjoyable and worthwhile is most sustainable.
