And so the new dawn came,
rosy sky with shimmering lights,
and promises of a present
that is cleared of all the past.
So, tell me kindered, what
is
this day?
What will we have in it?
With words do we speak?
Or sing with our souls alone?
Or dance in the night away?
If I stand still, i can hear you breath.
The touch of your heat as near
as the clothes I wear.
So, with all this, with all you presence, what am I to do?
Am I to think you will be here?
Am I to think you speak through others to me?
Am I to hope, to wait, to stay, to listen, to dance?
Or to move to where I only her his new day, and its new songs?
And so the rosy promise shines with might,
yet leaves me with blushing cheeks - and still no guide.
