The relative merits of the Athens riviera. I am looking at places to go for a holiday at the end of June, and if Greece qualify for the European Championship, then I could go there. I’ll be honest and say that the congestion in Athens could put me off, but it’s a lot better now that it was in the 1980’s. I could stick to the iconic places in the centres, and visit the underrated coastal places to the south, like Piraeus, Glyfada, the Saronic Gulf islands, and the resort towns in between. This could make a very nice trip.
