Just to add, my grandfather showed himself to my mother in a dream a number of years ago.
He was also crying, his arms stretched out in almost a pleading fashion. My mother felt it was tears of remorse and basically saying sorry for all he did.
He wasn't the best of fathers to her or her siblings and no doubt he realised this after having crossed over x
