I've been told I'm an old soul by a psychic. When I was younger I tried and tried to be good but always messed up.
Then one day I said ENOUGH (well, actually I said a very bad word but can't repeat it here
)! Now I just love me for the way I am; all my flaws, habits and imperfections.
I don't think advanced souls are perfect. I just think they have learned to roll with the punches and have a deeper understanding of how things work; which gives them a deeper understanding of humankind.
