Do people treat you the way you feel about yourself too?

There is much truth in this in general.

To put it in another way, thoughts don't happen in our head but in the energy around our heads for several feet in all directions. We can all perceive this, though at different levels, we get a vibe, a feel, a sense of someone before a word is ever spoke. We may look for physical clues or body language to confirm it in the following seconds, but that first impression exists in the energy around the person.
For this reason not speaking how you feel about yourself doesn't help for it's not stored in the privacy of your cranium.
The best way to change therefore what people perceive about you is to change how you perceive yourself. :)
Be Nice to you :)
