I don't think it's the rock music in itself that causes the artist to turn to drugs. Although of course a lot of them do/have done drugs. Some don't make it even. Others that do, have the music to thank, among other things. It's got them through their troubles.
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are too obvious to be the channels. I tell you who gives me the creeps, Taylor Swift.
