Witchy Woman
My new poetry thread.
It all began with water.
First, flowing down the river peacefully
Cool flow against my back.
Then struggling amongst the tide
Of the stormy sea.
Then I was burnt by fire,
Then the fire consumed me.
Then I learned to control it,
It smoldered in my belly.
I then conquered a patch of earth,
As I felt the dirt against bare feet.
I felt connection to the land.
Finally, I know myself
And where I stand.
Next, I believe,
I will know what it is
To fly amongst the clouds, through the air
For to understand freedom
I am sure you must understand
The previous three.
