Established in 1954 CERN ( European Organisation for Nuclear Research )main objective was to probe the fundamental structure of the Universe through studying the basic constituent of matter or sub atomic particles. The instruments used here are particle accelerators ( including LHC) and detectors.
This approach is like trying to figure out the structure of the elephant by studying and examining one hair of its tail under microscope. Result CERN has not been successful.
