Dan, calculating is part of humans experience. I believe humans created number language before other types of written languge.
5 toes or fingers makes a set/group of 5.
Humans if not all mammals have two hemi-spheres and those two are not equal and have some functions that are differrent from the other hemi-sphere.
Calculation may be more prevalent to one hemi-sphere more than the other. The real question is the balance in our lifes in regards to how those two hemi-spheres are used.
Ive laid out very clearly in other posts that woman tend to use both hemi-spheres more than men in lab experiements. From that we may infer that women tend to be more balanced in that way.
