No it can not happen to anyone, it is more like a protective shield. Preventing further damage to the energy structure of the spirit.
I only can point to two incidences I was part of, one was a mass shooting of Australian natives here in Melbourne (Blackburn) the other one was in Germany Buchenwald the concentration camp near Weimar.
