Angelfire, don't forget that "giving something" for Reiki does NOT necessary mean money. I can be prayers, returned healing, food, or whatever (and yes, even cash). It does not have to be money.
I've always like the "Pass is forward" method too... if someone can't afford to pay, tell them to do something nice for the next stranger they meet.
