When you drop the concept of a Patriarchal "God" out there somewhere controlling all these things, writing supposed "absolute truths" then all of this is seen through, seen for what it isn't, and what it isn't is the absolute truth.

Again, what you're reading (in the op) is what those who said those words felt, you are reading their perception, their thoughts, their beliefs, nothing more or less. For them, this is how they perceived it, for them these may have been their experience or a belief of THEIRS.

Is it not clear that these statements (in the op) are not valid for everyone? In other words they are not absolutes. Too often we say things (our perceptions/experiences) as if they're absolute for everyone, and they are not, which is evident by life itself; simply observe and see for yourself. If they were true for everyone, then they would be and everything in those statements would be happening to everyone equally, but they do not as seen through our experiences of life.

The problem comes in when you believe these statements to be sent by God and absolute and then they don't happen, which then you question God for its supposed failure instead of questioning yourself for having believed that the statements were sent by God and absolute in the first place. Be ye not deceived, and it is you who deceives you. Wake up!

The hardest thing we have to do is admit that just perhaps we may be mistaken, that maybe its not God that's wrong but me, that my perception/belief is mistaken, that maybe the bible is not the absolute infallible word of God but rather written by the mind of man/woman and that it in fact is fallible and so are we. And its OK, not knowing is a wonderful place to be..live the mystery.

This is elementary observation 101: Life is absolutely & unconditionally fair because it is impartial to everyone, there are no favorites, no discriminations, no prejudices, no special or ill treatments by God to anyone. Rather, our perception of life is what determines how we see it, it is us who are discriminating, judging, partial and prejudiced; in other words, our perception of reality is created by us, and what those statements in the op are revealing are the perceptions of those who said them.
