i think when you die... you stay behind fearful to cross or you cross and review your life good and bad.. if you havent reached a certain level with no choice you are sent back to earth... now those who lived many lives are going to be your stronger ones spiritual so the can access their past lives and remember individuals. i dont believe suffer a hell and are judged by demons. those who elevate to a higher level can at some point stay in heaven or choose to do work on earth but its all for developing individuals at the point and those are then angels at that level.
