From what I understand, the Annunaki were only interested in
monatomic gold and not gold bars (metallic gold)... the difference has something to do with molecular weight and mineral composition...more a question of valency differentials.

The only way to "mine" monatomic gold is to extract it from seawater as an isotope.
The only source of pure, natural monatomic gold in seawater is off the coast of Spain..
