I finished making a rune set out of deer horn (antler). I borrowed a neighbour's woodburning set to burn the runes on the slices. To protect the horn, I covered them with a clear top coat fingernail polish.
I had the slices out in the open as I was coating them so hubby saw them. He asked me what game they were for and I was tempted to say the game of divination.
I did tell him that they were for divination, like tarot. He's not into spiritual stuff but he leaves me be.
