Then you would love the lane just outside my house, Fox Spirit. Just a way outside, to the left of my gateway there are five HUGE and really very old Oak trees, in a line along the lane for 300 yards or more. They feel like friends of mine after 33 years living here, and Guardians of this lovely place. Their branches reach out towards the overgrown Ash in the opposite hedge, and create a 'tunnel' which creates a beautiful mysterious effect as it is approached from further back along the lane.
