When I was at university, I was taught that science involves studying the evidence
before reaching a conclusion! That's why I tested astrological techniques for many years, accepting some and rejecting others. One test of a valid discipline is that different people get the same results, which certainly happens in astrology.
The forecasts in newspapers are not real astrology. In fact, some of those columns are just made up by journalists. Years ago, a study of their accuracy was made which revealed that the did not better than chance, and that study was made by a group of skeptical astrologers.
