I dance salsa, but lindy hop, swing, tango or whatever will likely have similar results!
The good news for men is that on average they burn 3 times more calories when dancing than woman.
No one knows why that is. I think it is because the male is supposed to take the lead and thus has to exercise more control. He is also heavier and so more energy is required to move.
