Death is really all about your human body; if you had not entered, and inhabited, a physical body, you would not have to experience death. Understand that you are not death, you are life, and when your physical body can no longer sustain life, you will leave and go back to a state similar to the one you had before entering a human body.

We are not strangers to what we call “the afterlife,” rather we are more of a stranger to our human state of being than we are to our state of being after human death. After human death, when you leave your physical body, most likely things will feel more familiar than they did when you were in a human body. You may feel more at home outside of your physical body than you did in your physical body.

Whatever has a beginning has an end, and a physical body has a beginning and an end, but you are not your physical body. You had no beginning and you will have no end. We have grown used to experiencing life through a physical body and we think life is living in a physical body, but life is much more than that. Understand the depths of life and you will understand human death. The only thing that freaks out over death is the ego, that which makes us individuals. The head wants to understand what the heart already knows.

But the head is like a sponge, the mind tries to suck up everything, while the heart is like a river, it flows. Probably better to go with that flow than to do all of that sucking. Your heart already knows about life and death, the knowledge came with you when you were born. I have found meditating on inner silence has bought me more intrinsic knowledge than 10-years of studying the subject of life at a university.

Be patient with yourself, no matter what, it is all relevant to the journey of you unfolding yourself, and coming to know that which you truly are below the surface. Human life is a gift but you have got to unwrap the package. Words are only representations and they will never actually be able to describe, or represent, the magnificence that we call “life.” Life contoniues after human death because you, that which you truly are, is life.
