Asherah Code 75: Dark Stumbling
Each time I come to restore light; I am accused of blasphemy.
The self-righteous will no more recognize my arrival this time than the last.
Long have they searched their fallen word, vainly hoping to discover the key to eternal life.
Generation after generation they stumble in darkness, led steadily to the unseen abyss.
Upon this precipice they totter and grasp at you to recover their balance.
Not even their own false doctrine do they practice.
They bear only an empty habit bereft of substance; as before, they do not recognize my arrival.
An obstacle to your ascent, they seek to block your passage by any means.
The scattered, I now gather, restore and unite.
Always, more is required to heal than to wound.
Your courage to defend and persevere must exceed their will to dominate.
Upon your own choice does the future rely.
