Ha...I had an MD send a patient to me for massage...along with a form
to track his Trigger points on a chart.
Next thing you know i was asked to come to his office...he had sent that form
and patients to many other LMTs and and so far i had been the only one that
not only knew what to do, but got them all exact.
When I told him the School I had gone to decades earlier...he hit his
hand on his desk and said that is the best school in the country.
I said, I knew it was good when i went there, but did not know that!
I mean the A&P teacher was a retired MD Harvard med. professor.
Back then it was called Neuromuscular Therapy..maybe still is...NMT.
I have 2 thick text books $100 each written by Pres Kennedy's
physician just on trigger points...remember he had terrible pain from a PT boat accident.
She said they are one of the most misdiagnosed things. Janet Travell, MD...
I see on amazon they now sell for $150, ha.
I can press on a part of the calf !...and your TMJ will go away....jaw pain.
