I am way more impressed with Anna Breytenbach (see animalspirit.org) who says in this wonderful lecture at Findhorn
https://youtu.be/Q65aJNkpKfc (or in another one) that you should never say "don't do this" to an animal (and I've heard this before) because you're projecting an image of doing something. And the horse reader was saying "Don't bite".
Yes for sure animals love music. I remember a horse who loved my singing. Stomping to a rhythm is inborn in all of us I think. I remember every time I played piano by an open window the birds would sing along. It could also be due to my uplifted emotions in connection with the music.
