Even though you don't feel special, were you made to feel special when growing up, was it filled with love and care I mean. As I said, please don't put the answer here.

And regarding your question, I've got nothing to hide because this is how it works for most children. It's exactly the way you've said... As a child, you are loved and made to feel special by the grown ups and parents. But when you are finally a grown up yourself, you are no longer important and everything turns out differently. So in the end you're nothing more than just a single grain of sand in an endless desert.
