There are many ways you can hear your fathers. You can do it via meditation. or you can simply develop your clairaudience so you here your father consciously while working with him. You can develop clairaudience by laying down and listening to the sounds you would not normally pay attention to. I remember I use to do this and my ability improved quite fast. Or you can do a guided visualation meditation to meet your loved ones and guides.
