Yes, it can be determined if there's a curse on you but you need to find someone whom you can trust. Don't go to some charlatan who's going to charge you money for "lifting" a curse.
I don't know what 'path' you're on or whether you would be able to perform a spell but it you can, then a spell to clear away blockages might help. If you're not up to anything like that you could always get some sage and cleanse your house and also your aura with it.
I would also suggest you talk to your guide(s) about how you can change things, they are always waiting to help us.
